Our Chapter History
Capital of Texas Chapter was formed in 2004 led by our founding President, Carol Nex. We were chartered in 2006, and became the second NCL, Inc. Chapter formed in Austin.
Today we are over 350 active members of mothers and daughters in grades 7 to 12 supporting 24 philanthropies. In 2017 – 2018 the NCL Inc. CapTex Chapter performed over 8200 hours of service to our community.
What makes Capital of Texas Chapter unique?
We have made diversity a priority in our Membership and our philanthropies. We strive to maintain a diverse Chapter and encourage our Members to look beyond their immediate circle of friends to build connections and relationships with girls from all over the Austin area.
In true Austin style, we like to keep things casual and fun (and maybe a little weird at times!) so you won’t need any fancy ball gowns – just a willingness to serve!
